Through their investigation, the two warriors found the Cave of Gold and a secret entrance into its Isu vault, which could only be unlocked through a [[Vault pedestal|pedestal]] requiring five [[Isu Shards|keys]]. At that moment, Eivor and Kassandra were attacked by several villagers under the Apple of Eden's influence and, though they emerged victorious, Eivor became suspicious of Kassandra. After the ''misthios'' admitted that her presence was what might have activated the Piece of Eden, Eivor deemed her untrustworthy and ended their partnership.<ref name="Night and Day" />

Inside, she was attacked by more mind-controlled villagers but managed to defeat them with help from a returning Kassandra. With the "curse" lifted and the Isle of Skye saved, Eivor invited Kassandra to celebrate their victory by crashing a wedding in [[Kiltaraglen]]. Amidst the party, the ''misthios'' decided to silently leave the island, resuming her quest for the Pieces of Eden but ultimately parting ways with Eivor as friends. By the 21st century, the Isle of Skye was the site of an uncompleted [[Abstergo Industries]] facility. [[Isaiah]], both a [[Templars|Templar]] turncoat and defector from the [[Instruments of the First Will]], briefly used the site around 2016 to locate the final prong of the [[Trident of Eden]]. When a Templar strike team moved in on the base, Isaiah used the two Trident pieces already in his possession to compel the team to reinforce his own group of followers.
