==History==
The [[Scottish Brotherhood of Assassins]], knowing that their stronghold at [[Scone]] would be attacked by the [[Templars]] seeking the [[Stone of Scone]], placed the Stone in the care of [[William Wallace]], who kept moving throughout the winter of 1296, evading the [[Lann Fala]],<ref name = "Chapter 27">''Assassin's Creed: Fragments – The Highlands Children'' – Chapter 27: ''Révolte''</ref> though he was not able to deliver it to Iona before the thawing.<ref name = "Chapter 32">''Assassin's Creed: Fragments – The Highlands Children'' – Chapter 32: ''Dunstaffnage''</ref>

In 1297, a group composed by [[Assassins]] [[Deorsa]], [[James of Crannach]] and [[Fillan]], as well as [[Moira (druidess)|Moira]] and [[Ailéas]] arrived at Iona and made their way to the abbey. Upon arriving at Iona Abbey, they saw the Stone abandoned by the entrance to the building, with [[Cornavii]] and two other Lann Fala members nearby.<ref name = "Chapter 34">''Assassin's Creed: Fragments – The Highlands Children'' – Chapter 34: ''Iona''</ref>

The two groups fought outside of the abbey,<ref name = "Chapter 35">''Assassin's Creed: Fragments – The Highlands Children'' – Chapter 35: ''Tonnerre''</ref> with Ailéas ending the fight by striking the Stone with her [[Swords of Fal|Sword of Fal]], causing an explosion of energy that knocked them all to the ground and damaged the abbey, sending some of its stones flying off. After a short moment to rest and for Moira to check on [[Sören]], she had the twins help her move the Stone into the [[Iona Vault]], leading them through a hidden staircase and guiding them through a maze of corridors.<ref name = "Chapter 36"/>
