'''Helena Blavatsky''' (1831 – 1891) was a [[Russia|Russian]] mystic and author who gained a following as the leading theoretician of {{Wiki|Theosophy}} and the co-founder of the {{Wiki|Theosophical Society}}.

A member of a minor noble house from Russia, Blavatsky met the [[British Brotherhood of Assassins|British Assassin]] [[Simeon Price]] via an out-of-work opera singer who had attached himself to Blavatsky.
