The '''Hachiman Canal''' was a canal that ran through [[Hachiman (town)|Hachiman]] in southern [[Ōmi]], [[Japan]]. 

==History==
In 1582, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member and [[samurai]] [[Yasuke]] met with fieldworkers along the canal and talked about how another samurai that threatened them for more payment on their taxes. After meeting with the fieldworkers again, he informed them of killing the corrupt samurai, to which they informed Yasuke about his boss, a ''{{Wiki|daikan}}'' in [[Azuchi]].
