==Biography==
By 1582, Ginroku, along with other merchants, had become a participant in the [[Iron Hand]]'s [[Iron Hand Guild|guild]], which was using the Imai's name to steal business ventures from them. Ginroku sold rare luxuries among the rich individuals and their families in Miyazu Bay for the Iron Hand.<ref name="Iron Hand Guild">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[The Iron Hand Guild]]</ref> 

The [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] arrived in the village to investigate Ginroku and the Iron Hand Guild as a favor to [[Imai Sōkun]]. Finding Ginroku, Naoe discovered him to be nervous around his stockpile, which happened to be from [[Tamao]]'s brewery in [[Kyoto]]. She later acquired a letter from Ginroku to the Iron Hand, whose location happened to be at [[Fukuchiyama Castle]] and where Ginroku would be delivering his shipment.<ref name="Iron Hand Guild"/>
