'''Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben''' (17 September 1730 – 28 November 1794), also known by the title '''Baron von Steuben''' was a Prussian-born military officer who served as {{Wiki|Inspector General}} and Major General of the [[Continental Army]] during the [[American Revolutionary War]].

Von Steuben worked at [[Valley Forge]], drilling the troops in basic military tactics and teaching them basic camp layout and sanitation, stopping the spread of disease at the encampment.

During the {{Wiki|Battle of Blandford|Battle of Petersburg}} in 1781, Baron von Steuben was assisted by [[Assassins]] sent by [[Ratonhnhaké:ton]] to ensure his safety.
