'''Endo Riku''' (died 1582), also known as '''The Connoisseur''', was a [[Japan]]ese ''{{Wiki|daikan}}'' who governed over [[Kanegasaki Castle]], [[Wakasa]].

==Biography==
Endo Riku held the position of the ''daikan'' at Kanegasaki Castle. Gluttonous and cruel, he enjoyed feasting publicly in order to shame and humiliate his subjects. He, along with other ''daikans'', later allied with the [[Shinbakufu]] to financially support their plans in exchange for protection.<ref name="Corrupt Daikan">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[The Corrupt Daikan]]</ref>

In 1582, [[Kuma]], a bodyguard to Lady [[Oichi]], met with the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] members [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[Yasuke]] about eliminating a group of corrupt ''daikans''. They accepted the task and went to track down these officials. Arriving at Kanegasaki Castle, they heard Riku taunting his servants while he ate in front of them. Confronting him, Naoe and Yasuke assassinated Riku, ending his influence over the territory.<ref name="Corrupt Daikan"/>
