FOLLOWING THE LOSS OF HIS SHIP AT THE HANDS OF AVELINE DE GRANDPRÉ, CAPTAIN DOMINGUEZ WAS FORCED TO REFORM UNDER HER SUPERVISION. HE REMAINED PRODUCTIVE UNTIL 1803, WHEN HE WAS REPORTED MISSING AT SEA.
