Captain '''Aetes''' was a [[Greece|Greek]] [[soldier]] stationed in [[Dionysias Wharf]], [[Faiyum]], [[Egypt]].

Aetes had a paternalistic view of his duty, claiming it was for the security of both Greece and Egypt, saying that the Egyptians, if left to themselves, "would never know true civilization".
