Redirect?

Why is this a redirect? Shouldn't it be about the afterlife Valhalla? V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 08:01, July 13, 2020 (UTC)

I was thinking of having this redirect to Assassin's Creed: Valhalla like it happened with Unity and Syndicate, such that it will be easier when typing out links, while the afterlife be named as Valhalla (afterlife). XOdeyssusx (talk) 08:06, July 13, 2020 (UTC)

It depends on which one is the primary topic, and it's possible they're both topics of equal prominence. I am betting searches for Valhalla would more likely be intended for the game though. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 08:29, July 13, 2020 (UTC)

I don't think a comment that is supposed to help. I wasn't sure if you understand our policy regarding disambigs and think that all those items you listed are relatively equal enough in terms of prominence to merit "Valhalla" itself being a disambiguation page or you had some confusion regarding how our disambig pages are organized. Humor always helps, even if it’s a poor attempt. Yes I’ve read MOS; I feel my honor has been impugned upon by the implication otherwise. My original statement was just in regards to if we are going to have this not be an article page then I think a disambig page is more warranted than a redirect. I didn't mean to impugned upon your honor. Misunderstanding how disambig pages work has been a recurring problem for our wiki, so I thought I really needed to verify. At the same time, I really didn't understand what the illiteracy comment meant to say in the slightest. Anyway, I was wondering if a case could be made for this being a general disambig page without being in conflict with policy since you have a point if it's not going to be an actual page. Then again, now that I think of it, it probably makes the most sense for Valhalla to immediately refer to the actual Valhalla as the primary topic rather than being a redirect to the game. Odey was right to point out precedents with "Unity" and "Origins", but all titles with Valhalla is referencing the actual Valhalla. In a round about way I supported Vilka's proposal. As for the other comment it was just a cheeky response to you stating editors don’t read the MOS. Followed by clarification that my inability to read doesn’t hamper my ability to write. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 14:00, July 13, 2020 (UTC)
