Templars?[edit source]

If I'm not mistaken, the Templars were formed in the middle ages, during the crusades, AFTER the fall of rome. So how could there be templars around in Brutus's time? Or were they the ancestors of the Templars?

Bloodline?[edit source]

First off, sorry that I haven't been around all that much, I've been really busy around the homestead here lately and haven't gotten much time to keep up my edits or even lurk around all that much. But I was just reading the article page and noticed something of potential interest; Marcus was alive around the 80's/40's BC, and he did manage to open the vault beneath the Collosseum (not to mention commune and operate the Apple). That makes me wonder, since we know (and as stated in the trivia) that only certain bloodlines can do that, it's highly possible that Marcus is of the same bloodline as the Assassin's we know and cheer for. But given the date he was alive around, wouldn't that make him an ancestor of even Altaïr, or am I looking at this wrong? -Assassin-of-Rayne- 09:43, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

You are correct, if he is of the same bloodline, there is plenty of time for one of his descendants to have migrated to where we find Altair. You are also correct that he is much older than Altair. Supertrinko 10:00, March 23, 2011 (UTC)
    • This is just speculation, but Marcus Junius Brutus was said to be descended from Lucius Junius Brutus, nephew of the last king of Rome, making him a descendant of Romulus (Followers connection), and Romulus & Remus were said to be the offspring of Rhea Silva & Mars, meaning that if Mars was one of those who came before, then Brutus' First Civilisation Blood could come from that union. Giovanni Borgia and Perotto Calderon[edit source]

The page seems to suggest that Giovanni Borgia was a descendant of Brutus because he relived his memories (and therefore, by extension, Perotto Calderon was as well). Is this the consensus? I always thought it was Giovanni having been wrapped in the Shroud as a newborn; the shroud imparting memories from Brutus, who it tried to reanimate. As a Piece of Eden its very nature is mystical, the voice it speaks in seems to imply a sentience, or Consus. Anyway, those are just my thoughts on the matter. Well, the Shroud article states it more similarly as you said - the memories mentioned are passed between those who come in contact with the Shroud, not via bloodline. Thanks, I'll amend this article. =GuardDog 11:28, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

Why is there no image of Brutus?

Here are some well-known images of Brutus (all from his wikipedia article):  Portrait Brutus Massimo
