So, how are we going to categorise this? --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 16:58, February 7, 2011 (UTC)
Differentiating between game/book details?[edit source]
The doctor's never named in the game, and even though he does give Pietro something to drink (Intervention), he makes no mention that the concoction is his own design. Those are details from the novelization.
Also, looking closer, I failed to find mention of the leeches neutralizing the poison; their recovery ensuring effects are mentioned in both the game and the book, though.
Should we make note of what details are from the book, what from the game? Sadelyrate (talk) 17:07, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
- This is the Renaissance we're talking about. The concoction might not have been 100% good for Pietro, and the doctors back then thought leeches were the solution to many a medical problem. I'd think it'd be best if we left those things out, unless it is specified against the concoction being a surefire cure. Slate Vesper (talk) 19:29, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
- In the novelization, after Pietro's admitted to feeling better having drunk the contents of the vial, the doctor comments that such a recovery is no miracle, "---for my sins I've had quite a bit of experience with cantarella victims - it's enabled me to develop this pretty effective antidote. Now," he continued judiciously, "I'll apply some leeches. They will lead to a full recovery---" I'd just like to get clarification to whether we should denote what details come from the novelization, what from the game. - I suppose you could add it in as a trivia piece by saying "In the novelization of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, it states that the doctor who cured Pietro Rossi of cantarella poisoning had developed an effective antidote, as a result of having experience with numerous victims of the poison."
