Order of succession

I knew AC played loose with history, but how do you mess up succession order? The only way I can think this could be explained is that, as WP notes, Æthelred's rule may have had some overlap with Oswald's. – Darman (talk) 04:00, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

I mean, Wikipedia articles already states that very little is known about both Oswald and Æthelred, and the only known information comes from coins? Thus, I'm inclined to think that the dates of their reigns are mostly just guesses and estimates.

Yeah this isnt really messing up the succession order since the order is not known. As far as things go this is nothing compared to other weird historical mishaps AC has done. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 04:40, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
