Ancestors count?

I had understood the term cipher to specifically mean the people using the animus while the genetic source was more of a conduit. So Desmond would be a cipher but Ezio wouldn't. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 18:49, October 19, 2019 (UTC)

Agreed, Lacrosse. That in AC: Syndicate, Juno didn't talk to Evie/Jacob, but to the player, when she called them 'cipher'. Sadelyrate (siniath) 08:05, October 20, 2019 (UTC)
