The Burden of Legacy was an ōdachi that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe were tasked by monk Ujimasa with eliminating a group of rogue samurai active in Kyoto, the Takahashi clan. The pair tracked down the first son, Taro, to the Asukai Clan Domain, where they assassinated him. From his personal effects, they retrieved the weapon.[1]
