Miletios, also known as Miletus or Miletos, was an ancient Greek city-state on the western coast of Anatolia.
Aspasia, the partner of the Athenian statesman Perikles, was born in the city in 470 BCE. [citation needed] Other Milesians of note include the philosophers Thales, Anaximandros, and Anaximenes.[1]
In 1519, Ezio Auditore da Firenze led a group of Assassins to found new bureaus across Europe and beyond following clues left by Leonardo da Vinci.[2] One of the new bureau locations was in the abandoned city.
