The Khurasan Gate Guardhouse was a military garrison built around the Khurasan Gate, leading into the Round City of Baghdad. It was located southwest of the Prince's Palace in the Harbiyah district.

In the 860s, the leader of the Zanj rebels, Ali ibn Muhammad, was brought to and held at the guardhouse, before he was later moved to the Damascus Gate Prison. While trying to locate Ali, the Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq was directed to the guardhouse by his contact Dervis and, though he did not find the rebel leader, he managed to retrieve a list of all the possible prisons he might have been transferred to.[1]
