Alouette (died 870 CE) (French: Lark) was an eagle companion to the Frankish Hidden One Oisel in the late 9th century CE. In 870, Alouette joined Oisel in his travels along the Silk Road. During an assault on a fortress held by the Snake-Eaters, the mercenaries' leader Dunya threw a dagger and killed her instantly.^[1]
