Ezio using the zipline in Revelations.

Ziplines are featured in Assassin's Creed: Revelations as a new device that enables Ezio Auditore da Firenze to speed up his navigation by almost 30%. Ezio will use his hookblade to hang onto these lines and move around. He can also perform air assassinations on a target below him. He can jump off any time.

When a tower is conquered by the Assassins, it is upgraded to an Assassin Den. This will increase the amount of ziplines in the area around the tower.
