Zadock Perry was a member of the Sons of Liberty in Boston during the early years of the American Revolutionary War.
An old acquantaince of Achilles Davenport, Zadock was captured by the British in 1775 after being betrayed by the informant Aidan Galway. Zadock was held in a prison by the docks, where he was later rescued by the Colonial Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton, whom Zadock recognized as Achilles' student. After being escorted out of the prison, Zadock told Ratonhnhaké:ton about his fellow Son of Liberty Jonathan Ferguson, who was captured taking coded dispatches to Concord. Zadock asked the Assassin to speak with Achilles in a pub down by the docks as a favor to find a way to rescue Jonathan.[1]
