Peleus
Peleus was the mortal king of the Myrmidons and the father of the hero Achilles in Greek mythology. He was also the brother of Telamon and thus the uncle of Ajax.
During the Peloponnesian War, a xiphos which had allegedly belonged to Peleus was kept in a chest in Artemisia Fort on the island of Kos. The misthios Kassandra claimed the sword for herself when she infiltrated the fort.[1]
