Nanatsumatsu

Nanatsumatsu was a military camp located west of Amagasaki in Izumi Settsu, Japan.

History

In early 1582, the Iga kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe traveled to the camp to learn about Wada Koretake's location,[1] due to his part in her father Fujibayashi Nagato.[2] There, she came to find and confront Shindo Hiroshii, a samurai and executioner under Oda Nobunaga and an associate to Koretake. Despite his manpower, Hiroshii and his men fell to Naoe, who recovered a letter from Koretake detailing his position to be at Amagasaki Castle from Hiroshii's personal effects.[1]
