Mylna

Mylnas were silica mills that were found in the regions of Svartálfaheimr. In 75,000 BCE, a coalition of Muspel and jötnar warriors invaded the realm, enslaved most of the dwarven population, and took over the mylnas under the warlord Surtr's command. The Æsir lord Havi and his einherjar crew aboard Skíðblaðnir raided these mylnas and pillaged their silica pillars. With the silica, Havi was able to upgrade his Hugr-Rip.[1]
History
During his campaign to save his son Baldr from Surtr's grasp, Havi ventured the realm and searched for any means to save his son. While in Svaladal, he theorized that if he abducted Surtr's daughter Eysa, he can trade her freedom for Baldr's. Finding her location, he traveled atop the Stór Mylna and searched its lava pools. He soon confronted Eysa, who challenge Havi to a fight. Although Havi bested her, she managed to escape after a dwarven prisoner interrupted them. However, Havi learned from the prisoner of elven markings in a cave and it stated of an artifact at a vault. With another opportunity, Havi left to find the relic before Eysa could.[2]
After a series of events, Havi gained Eysa as an ally after learning of Surtr's plan to use the relic, the Salakar, to capture the hugrs of worthy suitors of every kind, even his own Muspel guards, to garner more power and invulnerability.[3] With the Salakar in his possession, Havi made his way to Vangrinn and met with his old friend and blacksmith Ivaldi and Hodda Shelter's shelter chief Brokkr about working on the Salakar together while instructing Eysa keep an eye on her stepmother Sinmara.[4]
Within Hodda Shelter, Havi and his allies later conferred about Sinmara's unwillingness to barter and how Havi may make matters worse for her. One piece of information Eysa shared was about her "soldiers" at Afalvat Mylna. Thus, Havi and his crew made their way to Afalavat Mylna and destroyed all the soldiers Sinmara ordered for her army. Along with Havi destroying her other weapons and resources, this ultimately led Sinmara to seek out a trade between her and Havi.[5]
