Meng Tian (蒙恬; c. 250 BCE – 210 BCE) was a Chinese general and inventor of the Qin dynasty who served under Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Hailing from a line of military generals and architects, Meng Tian distinguished himself in the Qin's campaigns against the Xiongnu and in the construction of the Great Wall of China.
