Lysistrata

Lysistrata was an actress often relied on for her seductive charisma, and a member of the Templar Order. As a wealthy Byzantine woman, she lived a luxurious nonchalant life in Constantinople, where she was schooled in the arts by the Templars. Lysistrata used her seductive charm on visiting Ottoman officials to aid the Templars.

In 2012, her genetic memories were used by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, for the training of their Animus recruits, under the title of the Thespian.

Biography

Early life

Lysistrata grew up in Constantinople, where she lived a wealthy lifestyle a member of high society. She was taught the arts at the request of the Templars, and later utilized these skills to influence Ottoman officials and visiting monarchs.

Confrontation with the Assassins

"We have been hearing rumors for some time now that paint Lysistrata in a very dangerous light. We fear she is responsible for the disappearance of several eminent men throughout the empire."

In 1511, Lysistrata met with a male contact, with whom she walked through Constantinople. However, the two were tailed by an Assassin Mentor, Ezio Auditore, and one of his Apprentices. The Apprentice followed Lysistrata and her contact as they weaved their way through the streets, while Ezio tailed them from the rooftops. Lysistrata and her contact eventually arrived at the Hippodrome, where they stopped to talk for a few moments.

During that time, Ezio's Apprentice made his way onto a section of the Hippodrome just above where Lysistrata stood. However, Lysistrata noticed the Apprentice, and stabbed her contact in the abdomen, before throwing a smoke bomb to conceal her escape. The Apprentice attempted to assassinate Lysistrata, but was too late as she had already escaped.

Death

"You do your duty well, Assassin... but you do it with such coldness that I almost pity you. The lives you fight to protect are dull, weak, and lacking luster. What a bland world it will be if you Assassins get your way."

Later that same year, Ezio met with another one of his Apprentices, who told him that Lysistrata planned to make a public performance under a stage name. Ezio remarked that Lysistrata knew better, but that her vanity had overcome her, before departing for the waterfront performance with his Apprentice.

Upon reaching the waterfront, Ezio and his Apprentice agreed to carry out the mission together to ensure Lysistrata was killed. Ezio then made his way down to the small crowd, and assassinated Lysistrata in the middle of one of her speeches. In her final words, Lysistrata claimed that although the Assassins did their job well, they would create a bland world if their fight succeeded.
