Le Protée
Le Protée was one of twelve legendary ships encountered by the pirate Alonzo Batilla during the early 18th century.
A French slave ship, she brought African slaves from Senegal and the Kingdom of Whydah to the West Indies and was protected by L'Alexandre.

- Protée is French for Proteus, the Greek mythological deity.
