Joseph is an Assassin who was believed to be dead until 2015, when he contacted the Templars and disclosed that a Piece of Eden had been hidden in Salem, Massachusetts, during the witch trials of 1692. He informed the Assassins, explaining he was trying to draw out a top Templar in San Diego; Xavier Chen believed him, but Galina Voronina was suspicious. To verify his claim, they recruited Charlotte de la Cruz to explore her ancestor Tom Stoddard's memories of the event.
Trivia
Joseph, is a descendant of David, a young mute boy whose mother was Jennifer Querry, an Assassin active during the Salem witch trials in the 17th century.
