John Fastolf

Sir John Fastolf (died 1459) was an English general during the Hundred Years' War. Fastolf led the English supply convoy during the Battle of the Herrings in 12 February 1429. It was a disastrous raid for the French army.

Trivia

He was caricatured by William Shakespeare as the drunk hedonist Sir John Falstaff.
