The armor of Ishak Pasha

Ishak Pasha (unknown - 1497) was an Ottoman general, statesman and Grand Vizier. He was also, secretly, the leader of the Assassins in Constantinople.[1]

He died in 1497.

Biography

Ishak Pasha was largely responsible for the established peace between the Assassins and the Ottomans during the eary 16th Century, as well as being the individual responsible for finding and recruiting the future-Master Assassin, Yusuf Tazim, into the Order.[1]

In 1476, Pasha participated in the Ottoman military crackdown on a Hungrarian uprising, defeating and beheading the rebel leader; a Templar named Vlad Tepes.[1]

In 1510, Sultan Bayezid II entrusted the Janissary Murat Bin Husn with Pasha's mystical armor, who hid it in the Hagia Sophia to ensure its safety.[2] However, some months later, the Mentor of the Italian Assassins, a man named Ezio Auditore da Firenze, found the scattered memoirs of Ishak Pasha, and used them to locate the armor from under the structure.[1]
