Alan Rikkin is a high ranking employee of Abstergo Industries and a member of the Templar Order.

Assassin's Creed

Rikkin does not personally appear in Assassin's Creed, but his name appears on several E-mail messages. He is part of the team responsible for reviewing Animus session recordings to find Pieces of Eden.[1] Rikkin is superior to Warren Vidic and can decide if a particular subject remains in the Animus.[2] He is also aware of Abstergo's current relations with external political and regulatory organisations.[3]

At least once, Lucy Stillman e-mailed Rikkin about a deceased Abstergo employee named Leila Marino. Rikkin's answer to Lucy was an out-of-office notice even though he continued to manage his e-mails during the time he was supposedly away—such as warning Vidic to keep Lucy from asking difficult questions.[4]
