Eden or the Garden of Eden (Hebrew גַּן עֵדֶן, Gan ʿEdhen; Arabic: جنة عدن), is described in the Book of Genesis as being the place where the first man, Adam, and his wife, Eve, lived after they were created by God. Literally, the Bible speaks about a garden in Eden (Gen. 2:8). This garden forms part of the Genesis creation narrative and theodicy of the Abrahamic religions, often being used to explain the origin of sin and mankind's mistakes.
Assassin's Creed Series

Eden was a place where the people of the first civilization were known to exist. They were an advanced race of species, and are believed to have created humanity, whom they enslaved using technology later known as the Pieces of Eden in order to rebuild their civilization.
Adam and Eve are believed to have been the first humans capable of resisting the power of the artifacts. They are known to have escaped the compound along with an artifact later known as the Apple of Eden.
