Dunvegan Village

Dunvegan Village is a village in the west of Scotland's Isle of Skye.

History

During the 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan arrived at Dunvegan Village and heard a brewer complaining about his missing notes. Eivor soon saw a barred door on a hut and broke inside the hut, where the notes were. With the notes, Eivor talked with the brewer, who became elated and asked Eivor for her help for the ingredients. Eivor probed the farm area and procured the ingredients and then headed back to the brewer. Eivor gave the ingredients to the brewer, who thanked her for helping make his new drink.[1] Through her travels, Eivor also recovered a paper that entailed a tattoo design.[2]
