Ding Shuge

From the Assassin's Creed Wiki
Revision as of 09:21, 6 August 2023 by imported>Sol Pacificus ("Qin dynasty ruled by Qin Shi Huang" sounds awkward & redundant. / "Formerly from the state of Zhao" sounds awkward b/c it suggests you're writing from the perspective of 215 BCE. But remember, you're writing from the perspective of the present day, when he is long dead. He was just as formerly a citizen of Zhao as he was formerly alive. / I haven't met him in my play yet, but ingots and banliang are just currency. / Idk how we should cite flavor text found in the map.)

Ding Shuge was a Chinese artifact appraiser from the state of Zhao who lived during the Qin dynasty.[1]

Before his vocation as an appraiser, he was an aide to Lü Buwei, in which capacity he was an adroit mediator between the Qin and the Xiongnu whenever border conflicts arose.[1] By 215 BCE, he had settled in the city of Yangzhou near the Great Wall of China. Among his regular business contacts was a youxia apprenticed to the spear-master Wei Yu who would sell him any artifacts they came across.[1]
