Clara was a member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins who operated in Rome during the Renaissance.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Clara was born in Florence, where her sharp mind and natural aptitude for combat quickly set her apart. Even from a young age, she exhibited a remarkable sense of discipline and cunning. Her skills eventually drew the attention of a high-ranking member of the Assassin Brotherhood, setting her on the path that would define her life.[2]

Joining the Assassins[edit | edit source]

After being recruited into the Brotherhood, Clara proved to be a formidable force. She took part in countless missions across Italy, from the canals of Venice to the bustling streets of Naples, and even ventured into the distant lands of the Ottoman Empire. During her time stationed in Rome, Clara was entrusted with training new recruits. It was there she encountered Beatrice—a brilliant and passionate young woman with a burning desire for justice. Recognizing her potential, Clara took Beatrice under her wing, instructing her not only in the arts of stealth and combat but also in the deeper philosophies of the Creed. The two would go on to form a powerful duo, striking at Templar strongholds and working tirelessly to liberate Rome from their grip. Their bond grew stronger than that of teacher and student—more like family, united by a shared cause.[2]

Personality and traits[edit | edit source]

Clara was a master of disguise, often infiltrating Templar fortresses under the guise of a noblewoman. She possessed extensive knowledge of poisons and commanded a vast network of informants and allies—some of whom were embedded deep within the Church itself. Calm, composed, and fiercely dependable, Clara was often regarded as the backbone of any Assassin operation. Her presence inspired trust, and her fellow Assassins knew they could rely on her in any situation. Through her actions and dedication, she became a legend in her own right—one half of the renowned duo known throughout Rome as Beatrice and Clara, bound by Creed, purpose, and an unbreakable bond.[2]
