The Cave of Tethys was a small cave located on the Greek island of Kephallonia, near the Ancient Ruins of Kranioi.

Dedicated to the Titan Tethys, the cave was explored by the misthios Kassandra around 431 BCE.[1]

Trivia

  • In Greek mythology, Tethys is the name of a daughter of Uranus and Gaia, said to be the mother of Greece's rivers after she married her brother, Oceanus.
