Acapulco is a port city in Mexico.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1614, the samurai and explorer Hasekura Tsunenaga arrived in the city with his crew and fellow explorer Sebastián Vizcaíno. However, tensions grew as Vizcaíno remarked and argued that his relics not being substantial for him and his king. As a result, Vizcaíno was badly injured after an altercation with Tsunenaga and his men.[1] Thus, Vizcaíno was left behind to recover while Tsunenaga and his crew left to venture further into Mexico.[2]

In 1742, the British Templar John Harrison sent a letter to Grand Master Reginald Birch, after hearing rumors, of his theory that a Precursor box, previously owned by Shao Jun, may have been sent to the city via Manila Galleons. However, he noted that the West Indies had been difficult to infiltrate since the death of Grand Master Laureano de Torres y Ayala.[3]

In 25 May 2013, at 1:46 pm, the Assassins' mobile ship headquarters Altaïr II docked at the bay of the city. There, Assassin hacker Rebecca Crane worked on updating a newer version of her Hephaestus Email Network.[4]
