While digging through various files, I came across a woman named Aileen Bock, who was the first person to test the possibility of seeing genetic memories outside of your direct ancestry.

She suffered a "mysterious injury" in 1981. A lot of those seem to happen at Abstergo. Her work was set aside in favor of the Animus Project.
