The Clinkers were a street gang active in the borough of Whitechapel, London, during the Victorian era, and an enemy of the Templar-affiliated Blighters.
History[edit | edit source]
By 1868, the Clinkers were the last remaining criminal competition to the Blighters, and were gradually being wiped out.[1] In March of that year, the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye liberated a number of Clinkers being held in a Blighters stronghold in Whitechapel.[2] In return, the Clinkers aided the twins in overthrowing Rexford Kaylock's branch of the Blighters and joined the newly formed Rooks syndicate, effectively ending the Clinkers' existence.[1]
