Gull and Eivor climbing the Feiknstafir mountains

The Feiknstafir mountains is a mountain range in Norway.

History[edit | edit source]

At some point before 870, a temple dedicated to the Norse god Heimdall was built atop the mountains. It was used to house, among other riches, an Apple of Eden.[1]

In 870, two groups scaled the mountains looking for the treasure of Heimdall, one of Wolf Clan warriors led by Bjarke Broadside and the odd pair of Gull and Eivor Varinsdottir.[2] Their subsequent fight over the treasure resulted in the temple's destruction and the loss of the Apple of Eden, as well as the deaths of all the Wolf Clan warriors.[1]
