Alan Rikkin

Alan Rikkin was the CEO of Abstergo Industries, and a member of the Templar Order.

History

Animus Project

"I'm about ready to pull the plug on your Subject 17. So either get me results or get another person into that Animus."

Although he did not interact personally with the subjects in the Animus project, Alan was a key member of the team responsible for reviewing the Animus session recordings as part of Abstergo's efforts to find Pieces of Eden. His personal assistant was Aubrey Jacobs.

He commonly communicated with Warren Vidic, who supervised the Animus sessions, through e-mails. Once, he sent him the information he and his team had gathered (which included their findings regarding the Philadelphia Project and Tunguska explosion) and asked him for feedback on them. Other such e-mails of his mentioned the launch of the Abstergo satellite, and the handling of security issues.

Alan was Vidic's superior, and was able to decide whether a particular subject had to remain in the Animus, or needed to be replaced. He was also aware of Abstergo's current relations with external political and regulatory organizations.

Leila Marino

Lucy Stillman once e-mailed Rikkin requesting information on a deceased friend, an employee named Leila Marino. The only response she received was an out-of-office notice, despite the fact that Alan continued to manage his other e-mails during the time he was supposedly away; including a warning to Warren to keep Lucy from asking difficult questions.
