Siobhan, also referred to as A1 to maintain anonymity in the field,[1] was an Assassin in a cell led by[2] Aed in the late 21st century.[3]

Biography

On 12 December 2096, Siobhan joined her group at the King's Cross magplex station in London, England to assassinate the former Abstergo Industries Director Arlan Ospanov for his role in overseeing Project Mnemosyne.[1][4] However, like many apprentices of the time, she and her team had "trained"[5] with jailbroken Dark Animi[6] by reliving the pirate Edward Kenway's genetic memories[7] and relying on the Bleeding Effect's transference abilities instead of using actual field operations. As a result, they all ran significantly increased risks of suffering from the Bleeding Effect's psychosis side effect.[5]

This risk became a reality when she abruptly began hallucinating[1] Kenway's memory of his discovery that his pirate mentor Benjamin Hornigold had joined the Caribbean Templars as a pirate hunter to eliminate the Republic of Pirates he had initially founded.[8] Unable to discern reality, she attacked[1] and killed 23 civilians with her Hidden Blade.[9] This nearly jeopardized the mission, exactly as a colleague had feared in May,[5] but Aed pushed the Assassins to use the mayhem that Siobhan had inadvertenly given them as cover to find,[1] interrogate, and kill Ospanov.[4] Siobhan remained unaware of this development, eventually evading security details and forcing a police manhunt for her location.[9]
