If you cannot give a normal answer to a normal question, then you will not be placed in a position where you should be helping the community. The top message on your talk page already points out your unwillingness to reply to users' question regarding a policy that quite obviously all new users are not aware of. Hello, all. I've been pondering this for a while and now I think I am finally going to put the application in. With vatsa less active lately, we have a small gap in our coverage. A lot of you know me from my time on the IRC and the various tech projects around the Wiki, such as CSS modifications, the homepage and old fanon portals, etc. I'm an occasional revamper but I'm always near IRC and the Recent Changes feed, watching for vandals and user requests.
So, my case. Right now, we have two highly active admins, Sima and Nesty, but unfortunately they are both on the same side of the planet. It would be useful to have someone on the other side, so that we are covered by admins 24/7. A lot of you know my IRCbot, TheRaven, has a paging system built-in (go into IRC and type "r.help" for details). Admin powers would also make it easier for me to keep up on the Wiki tech changes, so that Sima doesn't have to fiddle with special rights.
I ask you all to post your honest evalation - yay, nay, or undecided for any reason - below. I will respect the community's ruling, as always. Safety and peace upon you all.

Good God yes. We desperately need more admins right now. I mean no offence to the current admins, of course, but it often takes a while to get a response. Having more around would allow things to be done a little faster. I am proud to nominate my now-former Apprentice, Arcemz, to the Bureau. Arcemz has successfully completed the Apprentice Initiative with an outstanding record of achievement. He has completed each assignment I have given him no matter how diverse or extensive. He has worked well with other editors on the Wiki during his apprenticeship, both collaborating with our quality editors and countering those that would damage it. Hey everyone, on the request of Vatsa, I've decided to try my hand and see if I'm ready for a formal Staff position.
I have been a frequent editor to the Wiki for around one and a half years, and I feel I have grown to be a useful and respectful editor, though I aim to improve on myself and my editing skills further. I honestly expected one of the lengthy speeches by Blaidd, but apparently the guy has gone silent. Back to the point, Kal's been a great help sorting developer articles. A few of them even came around "pointing" factual errors so we could have proper database. In a way, Kal brought us closer to the devs of Assassin's Creed series. Hi everybody :)
After much consideration and after discussing this with Vatsa, I’ve decided to put myself forward for a staff position.
My major work consists of the development team articles, artist pages and image acquisition for the wiki but I will let my contributions speak for themselves because I am not great at this kind of thing. What I will say is that I love this series, the great work other contributors do for the wiki and I strive daily to add to the wiki by sharing my love of the amazing images and artwork that are created for the games. What is important to me is the community; I have always tried to show friendliness to other users and the community and I have started many long (but hopefully interesting) discussions regarding certain aspects of the AC Universe.
Regardless of the outcome I am honored to be considered by my peers and aim to continually improve my abilities as an editor.

Your dedication to detailing the artists and developers of the Ubisoft teams, as well as your ability to obtain images have clearly helped to improve the Wiki, and while there might be a few hiccups when you type things out, that doesn't stop you from being a respectful and mature member of the community here. Greetings, fellow wikians. After a talk with Vatsa and some thought, I've decided to give it a shot and partake in a Staff position.
I've worked under Teller for a bit and have learned much in my time here. With the help of the other Staff members, I hope to become a great addition to this place.

Hey guys. As you may know, I was a Staff member before my departure last year. Now that I am back, I believe I have proven my activity through the creation of over 20 articles and a large number of edits and time on the IRC. Before I became Staff, I completed an Apprenticeship under GD and helped promote seven articles to FA and seven to GA. I mentored an Apprentice and believe I could mentor one again. I believe I am ready for a Staff position again, so hopefully all you guys do too.
Side note: Apologies to TST for nominating myself instead of letting him nominate me, but I felt there were certain things I alone needed to say.

I chose to nominate myself now because I remember when War returned last year a rule was established that it was a two week wait before you could re-join staff. Because there were no other precedents regarding re-joining, I used that as a guideline and I re-joined the wiki two weeks ago. Hello people, I’ve decided that it’s about time we nominate him for a staff position seeing as it‘ll not only benefit us better but him as well. GI has been a welcome addition to the Wiki for months now and has currently been going through the Initiative but, with the absence of Kal who’s listed as his master, things have currently hit a rut. Apparently he was meant to have a last task but that’s something that could be completed after anyway, so what I am saying is, we should not only want GI in our staff but with the shortage of members, we need him there. He’s committed to putting in the work and the previous semi-absence has been explained, he’s told me that if the people are behind him he’ll put in the work to not make them disappointed! If that’s not staff-worthy, I don’t know what is! As well as the contributions to the Wiki’s mainspace, he’s proven himself to be a capable editor whom is well aware of source coding, creating templates and such, along with helping the staff members with their avatars.

I've probably attempted to phrase this at least ten different ways now, but the idea is: I appreciate all the work you do on behalf of the wiki (truly! lord knows I've bothered you so much over images) and I think you're a decent enough fellow, but your past actions kind of... precede you. I wasn't even around for those, I think, but I'm just worried you'll be too hard on other people. Not so much the regulars, but new people who might want to help but don't know all the policies and rules in place. No offense. If other people, who have known you much longer than I, feel it's a good idea to make you admin, I'll support that decision. (As an addendum, it's very easy to miss these things - I saw you put up the vote, so yes, I should've at least put something in the comments, but if someone didn't see it on the activity feed, they're unlikely to come to vote). When I have your page, I'll swing by and we can chat about this. I echo crook's concerns -- I have no concerns about your editing or your time commitments; you have put in more than enough of both to earn a place as Staff. My concern is around supporting and growing the community, especially when we are short people outside of the forums as it is. This kind of support is crucial to being Staff, as we are the cornerstones of the community meant to pull folks together. I'd like to talk with you before putting up a vote.
