::I'm afraid that an inconsistency in dating does not mean that the game is non-canon and, whilst the fact that the dates do not match up should certainly be addressed in the appropriate articles, the content still needs to be included. At the very most, it is "ambiguously canon" in which case {{tl|AmbCanon}} and {{tl|AmbCanon End}} should be used where necessary.

::To be exact, the second chapter is non-canonical because it contradicts the timeline and events of AC2 and ''Brotherhood'' to the point of being impossible, with the Battle of Forlì of 1488 and Ezio Auditore's first meeting with Caterina Sforza occurring after Cesare Borgia has been drive from Rome in 1507.

::Because of the confusing technicalities of <i>Identity</i>'s canon status, I was afraid of confusing you and wanted to give you a simple answer, believing that if you were just asking out of your interest, not to help out with the wiki, just telling you the game is non-canon would suffice, so once again, pardon me for the confusion. Rebellion-Odyssey tie-in memories

Hey, thanks for getting the jumpstart on creating these pages. One thing of note though, until we know how Abstergo got the genetic source to create these I don't think we can definitively say whether they are from Kass or Alexios as the info both in game and from the Community Manager is inconclusive. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 06:52, December 31, 2018 (UTC)

OK, I'll change it. I was wonder why these pages still not exist in this wiki after Spears for Hire event , so I did it myself.--UJ112013 (talk) 07:37, December 31, 2018 (UTC)
No worries. Most of the editors are either focused on Odyssey content or don't have Rebellion so it's good to have editors like you to pick up that slack. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:03, December 31, 2018 (UTC)
Sorry for jumping in, but thanks for reminding me about Spears for Hire. I took screengtrabs and wrote memory drafts but put them on backburner while I focused on other stuff and nearly forgot. Writing now! And again, well done getting these memories. -- Darman (talk) 02:05, January 1, 2019 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed: Identity

In this game, the Battle of Forlì(1488) set after the Siege of Monteriggioni(1500) which is an inconsistency. You can also read the Trivia in the memories of Forlì - A Crimson Sunset.--UJ112013 (talk) 15:19, March 27, 2019 (UTC)
I'm afraid that an inconsistency in dating does not mean that the game is non-canon and, whilst the fact that the dates do not match up should certainly be addressed in the appropriate articles, the content still needs to be included. At the very most, it is "ambiguously canon" in which case {{AmbCanon}} and {{AmbCanon End}} should be used where necessary.
It is not the wiki's responsibility to decide what is or isn't canon (despite our best efforts to reconcile any ambiguities as they arise), only to provide information. It is the responsibility of Ubisoft to fix any inconsistencies. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:07, March 27, 2019 (UTC)
Jasca is actually correct, UJ112013, and my apologies for the inaccurate answer.
To be exact, the second chapter is non-canonical because it contradicts the timeline and events of AC2 and Brotherhood to the point of being impossible, with the Battle of Forlì of 1488 and Ezio Auditore's first meeting with Caterina Sforza occurring after Cesare Borgia has been drive from Rome in 1507.
However, the first chapter contains no such conflicts with the main installments technically. In fact, if not for the second chapter, the first chapter would have been by default canon. However, because the second chapter is so non-canonical, and its story builds off that of the first chapter, we are of the opinion that this renders the first chapter ambiguously canon (whereas the second chapter is non-canon).
But as Jasca said, we have no authority to decide what is canon or not if it is material that has been licensed by Ubisoft. Only in such a case where the events are mutually exclusive with media of the highest tier of canonicity, in this case AC2 & Brotherhood, can we make such a deduction.
Because of the confusing technicalities of Identity's canon status, I was afraid of confusing you and wanted to give you a simple answer, believing that if you were just asking out of your interest, not to help out with the wiki, just telling you the game is non-canon would suffice, so once again, pardon me for the confusion.
