The William Rex was a ship operating during the early 18th century. When the Dutch had power and money, they decided to explore the Caribbean by building large ships, including the William Rex. The William Rex had approximately seventy-two cannons and was stationed in Grand Bahama. It was eventually sunk by pirate captain Alonzo Batilla.
