The Terror Gorge

The Terror Gorge was a gorge in the Mines of the Great Trench in Messenia, Greece. Within the gorge was the entrance into a cave used by the Followers of Ares.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the followers of Ares, freed their captives and looted their valuables and an Ainigmata Ostraka.[1]
