The Starrick Brewing Company was a subsidiary of Starrick Industries that operated in London, England during the Industrial Revolution. Owned by Grand Master of the British Rite of the Templar Order Crawford Starrick, it also served as a front-company for Templar interests.
History
In 1868, the company was responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of Starrick's Soothing Syrup, a concoction that masqueraded as medicine but contained both datura stramonium and opium,[1] under the control of Doctor John Elliotson.[2] After protecting a woman for speaking out about the syrup's effects, British Assassin Jacob Frye started investigating the drug, tracking down its distributors,[3] and eventually arriving at a distillery, where, along with the concerned scientist Charles Darwin, he discovered the drug's components and ingredients.
