The Sanctuary from its entrance.

The Sanctuary is a location in Assassin's Creed II created by Domenico Auditore as a tribute to the greatest Assassins in history found underneath the Auditore Family Villa, with its entrance concealed behind a tall bookcase in Mario Auditore's study. It is revealed by Mario Auditore to Ezio as the game progresses.

It houses six statues of six great assassins, though they are missing the Assassin's Seals needed to unlock Altaïr's Armor that is also housed there.
