Samis El Felipe was a King of Algiers, until Spain conquered the city in 1511.

The Spanish king then had Felipe imprisoned in 1511. During his imprisonment, the Ottoman Assassins established a line of contact with Felipe by passing forth messages from his cell. The Assassins were unable to actually rescue Felipe, however, due to the well-fortified nature of the prison.
