Antonio de Ulloa (1716 – 1795) was a Spanish general, prominent scientist, colonial administrator, and the first Spanish Governor of Louisiana. He was also a member of the Templar Order, acting primarily as a scientific advisor.

Following strict trade restrictions put in place by de Ulloa to benefit the Templars, a rebellion flared up in 1768 from French Creoles who opposed de Ulloa's regime.
