The Patrai amphitheater was the main theater in the 5th century BCE Patrai in Achaia, Greece. During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra learned from the Persian Darius that a symposium was held at the amphitheater, and that a man who might help them could be found there.[1] True enough, for while the audience's eyes were on the performing Parmys, Gyras sat among the people gathered.
